The Riftslasher is a standard melee weapon holding A tier on the tier list: a curved longsword with an edge so sharp it could open rifts of its own — it doesn't, though. Each hit deals 15 damage over a 3-swing, 4-hit combo for 58 total, with 30 stagger.

Reach is 3.2 blocks, weight is medium, knockback is 800, and it sits squarely in the Fighter archetype — a textbook all-purpose sword. One quirk to note: the combo takes 3s to reset, noticeably longer than most melee weapons, so whiffing or getting interrupted costs you more time here. Planning your engagements around that long reset is part of using the Riftslasher well.

It drops in Howling Woods, The Deep Dark and Rainy Plains. Community testing credited it with roughly 350 DPS using basic attacks and Lightning Surge, also pointing to the 40% melee damage bonus carried by its unique roll — its only downside flagged was a weak jump attack.

That unique roll is the Pride of the Plains, which any Riftslasher drop can become. If you enjoy the Riftslasher's rhythm, farming this weapon doubles as farming one of the strongest fighter uniques in the game.
