War Hammer

The War Hammer is a standard melee weapon at S tier — and community testing found it the hardest-hitting weapon in the game. Its strikes send tremors through the earth and through your enemies' hearts: one swing, one hit, 40 damage, and a staggering 90 stagger that stuns nearly anything it touches.

The standout number is DPS: roughly 500 with basic attacks and Lightning Surge, the highest measured of any weapon, with every hit able to trigger a wave. Heavy weight, 800 knockback and the Tank archetype make it a true frontline weapon; the price is a short 2.5-block reach, so you must be right on top of your target. As always, the DPS figure is single-target dummy data and does not capture crowd handling or technique difficulty.

It drops in Frozen Highlands, Rainy Plains and Lullaby Hills. No featured build is listed, but none is needed: the strategy is to swing, stagger everything, and let waves and enchantments do the rest.
