Part of the Pack

Part of the Pack is a level 6 side quest in Howling Woods built around a rescue: a lone wolf leads you to its captured packmates, and you spend the quest tracking them down through the woods. The structure alternates between following the wolf and fighting. First you follow it, talk to it, and search for the captured wolves, which leads to the first arena fight against the illager poachers holding them. After the rescue you return to the pet wolf, follow it to the second location, and talk to it again before climbing down a well to reach the poachers' other holding spot. A second arena fight clears that camp, and you return to the pet wolf to close out the quest.

Rewards

First completion pays out the Wolf Claws weapon. That makes this a practical early-game farm for claw-focused builds — the same weapon family as the Sculker's Bane, whose jump-attack playstyle benefits from an early head start. There are no repeat-run rewards and no boss encounter listed; the two arena fights against the poacher squads are the only combat spikes.

Connections

You must finish Training with the Enchantsmith before this quest becomes available, so it slots naturally into the early Howling Woods quest chain alongside Corruption in the Woods — Minecraft Dungeons II Quest Guide and the two boss-rematch side quests (The Witch Revived and The Twisted Warden Revived). Run it back-to-back with those for a dense stretch of level 6 rewards before moving deeper into the campaign.
