Shadowcloaking

Shadowcloaking is a positive status that lets you vanish from enemy sight. While it is active, you are invisible to mobs, and your next attack is guaranteed to be a critical hit. The effect ends as soon as you attack or use an artifact.

Two sources are documented. The Ender Fog gear piece grants it directly, and the Shadowcloak enchantment on melee or ranged weapons gives you a chance to enter Shadowcloaking on kill.

Shadowcloaking is both an escape tool and a setup tool. Break line of sight to reposition, revive an ally, or line up a perfect strike — then cash in the guaranteed crit on your hardest-hitting attack. It combines beautifully with Critical Strength from the Warrior Drums, which increases critical hit damage, and with Critical Precision from the Fighter's Flute for extended guaranteed-crit windows. Remember that using an artifact ends the invisibility, so plan your opener before activating: go invisible, position, strike, and let the guaranteed critical do the work.
