Amethyst Lens - Minecraft Dungeons II Talisman

The Amethyst Lens is a common talisman in Minecraft Dungeons II that sharpens your aim into raw damage: at its top level, your ranged attacks deal 35% more damage. Talismans level up with use, so the bonus grows as you play. It is a passive effect — equip it in one of your three talisman slots and every arrow hits harder, no button press required.

When to use it

The Amethyst Lens is a staple of archer builds. It appears in 2 best builds: rifeye's S-tier Unlimited-arrow archer and Prymron Games' S-tier Point-blank poison bow built around the Paragon. Any build that deals most of its damage at range — longbows, crossbows, the Humbler Heartstring — gets a flat, unconditional damage boost. Pair it with elemental arrow tools like the Conductive Quiver or the Flaming Quiver so the 35% multiplies an already-strong volley.

How to get it

The Amethyst Lens drops in Howling Woods, or as a quest reward. It is also secret talisman 7 of 8: in Howling Woods, climb the waterfall by the minecart station with the soul lantern, skip the first golden chest, and follow the path underground to the talisman chest. For more ranged damage, compare it with the Medallion of Momentum.
