When to use it

One honest caveat from testing: it is rated below the Twisted Tooth, because gaining souls faster usually beats holding more of them. The Soul Chip is secret talisman 5 of 8: in a Sift dungeon with jump pads, step on the platform to reveal a hidden chest — though that layout only generates in some runs. It can also appear in its own chest in a room that Ravines dungeons can roll.
