Fish Bait Stick

The Fish Bait Stick is a Legendary hat awarded exclusively to beta testers before the Bongo Cat launch on March 5, 2025. It depicts a fish bait stick worn on the head, a playful twist on its aquatic counterpart, the Fish hat.

How to obtain

This hat is retired: it was given only to players who played during the beta, and anyone who joined after the March 5, 2025 launch can never earn it. It is still tradeable, so the only remaining way to get one is buying it from another player, most commonly on the Steam Community Market.

Gameplay notes

As a beta-exclusive Legendary it counts among the most exclusive headwear in the game. Hats are equipped from the inventory and show while the cat bongs along with keyboard, mouse or controller input.
