Strike While it's Hot Achievement

Strike While it's Hot is an open progression achievement in Minecraft Dungeons II. It unlocks when you reforge a special piece of gear — using the reforge system to rework an item's properties.

How it happens

Reforging is a gear-customization feature: you take a special piece of gear and reforge it, refreshing what it offers. The achievement triggers the moment the reforge completes. Like the other gear achievements, this one lives in the equipment side of the game rather than in combat.

Tips for unlocking it

Pick a special piece of gear you actually want to improve, since reforging costs resources — ideally a unique or merchant piece you plan to keep, such as something from Shop Till You Drop or a unique found while chasing One-of-a-Kind. Reforging pairs naturally with the Minecraft Dungeons II Enchanting Guide system: reforge first to get a good base item, then invest in enchantments afterward, because achievements like Worked Like a Charm reward pushing those upgrades to level 3.
