Mad Sifter Paws

The Mad Sifter Paws are the boots of the Mad Sifter set, the unique variant of the regular Sifter armor in Minecraft Dungeons II. Like all armor pieces they share the same base health pool; the value here is entirely in the unique effect. Shaped like the quick paws of an enraged Sifter, they are the defensive answer to ranged attackers.

The Paws give you a 25% chance to deflect enemy projectiles — arrows, bolts and similar ranged attacks simply bounce off instead of connecting. That one-in-four chance matters most against mobs and bosses that prefer to shoot from a distance, and it pairs well with aggressive playstyles where you would rather push forward than hide behind cover. Support players who stand in the open to buff or heal allies also benefit from the passive protection.

As part of a mage-and-support oriented set with medium weight, the Paws suit players who keep moving and repositioning rather than turtling. They combine naturally with the other Mad Sifter pieces: Mad Sifter Mask stretches out negative statuses on enemies, Mad Sifter Slacks extends your own positive buffs, and Mad Sifter Vest amplifies artifact attacks.

The Mad Sifter Paws drop as the unique roll of the Sifter Boots — any Sifter Boots drop can turn into this variant. The confirmed farming regions are Singer's Meadow and Humbler Huskland, so run content in those areas if you want to add these boots to your collection.
