Mad Sifter Mask

The Mad Sifter Mask is the helmet of the Mad Sifter set, the unique variant of the regular Sifter armor in Minecraft Dungeons II. Like every armor piece in the game, it shares the same base health as everything else; what makes it special is its unique effect. Styled as a tainted, snarling Sifter face, it is built around a single idea: making debuffs stick to enemies for far longer.
Its effect, Tainted, increases the duration of negative statuses applied to enemies by 100%. That is a true doubling — poison, burning, weakness and any other harmful condition you inflict keeps ticking twice as long. The longer a status lasts, the more total damage each application delivers, which makes this mask a natural fit for builds that lean on weapons, artifacts or enchantments that spread negative statuses instead of relying on raw hits.
Mage and support-oriented players get the most out of it, since status-spreading playstyles often pair with artifact and spell use. There is also clear synergy with Monarch Talons, which deal 50% more damage to enemies suffering from a negative status — the mask stretches the window in which that bonus stays active.
You can get the Mad Sifter Mask anywhere a Sifter Hood can drop: any Sifter Hood drop has a chance to roll into this unique variant. Its confirmed farming regions are Singer's Meadow and Humbler Huskland. Pair it with its set siblings — Mad Sifter Vest, Mad Sifter Slacks and Mad Sifter Paws — for a full Mad Sifter loadout built around status control and artifact power.
