Monarch Talons

The Monarch Talons are the boots of the Monarch set, the unique variant of the regular Sculker armor in Minecraft Dungeons II. Like all armor pieces they share the same base health pool — the reason to wear them is the unique effect. Styled as regal boots tipped with sharp talons, they are built for players who want to dominate weakened prey.

Their effect, Bully, makes you deal 50% more damage to enemies affected by a negative status. The bonus applies whenever your target is suffering from any harmful condition, so the natural way to play them is to open with something that applies a status — poison, burning, weakness or similar — and then follow up with your hardest hits while the condition is active. This works for any weapon or artifact that can inflict statuses, and it pairs beautifully with Mad Sifter Mask, whose Tainted effect doubles how long negative statuses last on enemies, stretching the window for the bonus.

The Monarch set favors mage and trickster archetypes at light weight, so these boots suit fast, aggressive players who dart in and out of combat. Alongside Monarch Crown, Monarch Mantle and Monarch Sash, they round out a nimble, utility-focused set.

The Monarch Talons drop as the unique roll of the Sculker Boots — any Sculker Boots drop can become this variant. The confirmed farming regions are Frozen Highlands and Lullaby Hills.
