Its effect, Resilience, lets you recover from negative statuses 50% faster. Slows, burns, poisons and other harmful conditions wear off noticeably quicker, which cuts down the time you spend fighting impaired. That makes the Mantle a strong defensive pick against enemies and bosses that rely on status effects to wear you down, especially for lighter builds that cannot afford to take prolonged punishment.

The Monarch set favors mage and trickster archetypes at light weight, so this chestpiece fits mobile, evasive players who want their defenses to be passive rather than a second job.
