Aim Effect

Aim is an offensive gear effect found on ranged weapons and certain artifacts in Minecraft Dungeons II. It increases the likelihood that your shots land as critical hits, multiplying their damage output.

The bonus grows from tier to tier: 10% extra ranged crit chance at tier I, 15% at tier II, 20% at tier III, and 25% at the unique tier. Because it is a flat chance added to your base rate, every tier is felt directly in how often the big damage numbers pop up.

Aim appears built into the unique ranged weapon Ranger's Promise and the armor piece Soul Corruptor Sandals, and it can roll on bows like the Longbow and Greatbow as well as artifacts such as the Conductive Quiver and Flaming Quiver. It rewards dedicated ranged builds — particularly crossbows and longbows that fire slowly but hit hard, where each crit matters.

It works especially well alongside Critical Edge Effect and Critical Hit Effect, which raise crit damage and general crit chance, and Precision Effect, another ranged-focused bonus. Aim rolls on ranged slots only, so it belongs on bows and crossbows rather than melee weapons.

Tier availability follows the standard rules: tier I only below threat 3, tier III from threat 6, and tier III as likely as tier II from threat 15. Rare items roll one effect and special items two.
