Assassin Effect

Assassin is a stealth-themed gear effect in Minecraft Dungeons II. Normally, attacking breaks your Shadowcloaking; with Assassin rolled on your gear, each attack has a chance to keep you hidden instead.

That chance is 10% at tier I, 15% at tier II, 20% at tier III, and 25% at the unique tier. Because the check happens per attack, fast-hitting weapons trigger it far more often than slow ones, making rapid melee builds the natural home for this effect.

It is a natural partner for Prowler and other Shadowcloaking-friendly bonuses, letting a sneaky build stay invisible through entire combo chains. Evasion Effect also complements it, since a missed attack is almost as good as an unseen one.

Assassin tiers follow the familiar threat-level curve: tier I only below threat 3, tier III from threat 6 onward, and tier III matching tier II in likelihood from threat 15. Common items never roll effects; rare items get one and special items get two, so the best Assassin rolls come from specials on high-threat runs.
