Evasion Effect

Evasion is a defensive gear effect in Minecraft Dungeons II that gives you a chance to completely evade incoming melee damage. When it triggers, the hit simply misses — a powerful defensive layer against close-range enemies.
The chance starts at 10% at tier I, rises to 15% at tier II, and reaches 20% at tier III and the unique tier alike, making tier III effectively the cap. Since melee swings are the most common source of damage in close combat, even a modest evade chance adds up over a long mission.
It pairs with Deflection Effect, which covers enemy projectiles, and Acrobat Effect, which lets you reposition more often to avoid hits in the first place. Protection adds flat damage reduction on top. Melee brawlers who live in the middle of packs should look for Evasion on their gear.
Note that some listings mislabel the final row as a second "Tier III" — it is the Unique tier, also 20%. Threat-level rules apply: tier I only below threat 3, tier III from threat 6, and tier III as common as tier II from threat 15.
