Deflection Effect

Deflection is a defensive gear effect in Minecraft Dungeons II that gives you a chance to deflect incoming enemy projectiles entirely. Skeleton archers, evoker fangs, and other ranged attackers can have their shots bounce off you harmlessly.
The chance starts at 10% at tier I, rises to 15% at tier II and 20% at tier III, and caps at 25% on the unique tier. Because the check applies per projectile, it matters most in missions thick with ranged enemies, where dozens of incoming shots per fight make the percentage add up.
It pairs naturally with Projectile Protection Effect, which reduces the damage of projectiles that do get through, and with Evasion Effect and Protection for broader defensive coverage. Melee builds that spend time out in the open while closing distance are the natural audience.
Tiers follow the usual threat-level rules: tier I only below threat 3, tier III from threat 6, and tier III as common as tier II from threat 15. Common gear never rolls effects; rare gear carries one and special gear two.
