Artificing

Artificing is a positive status that turns artifacts into a centerpiece of your build. While it is active, the damage dealt by your artifacts increases, the amount of souls you gather rises, and your artifact cooldowns recharge noticeably faster, letting you fire off powerful effects more often.

Players can gain Artificing from two sources. The Totem of Casting applies it directly, and the Artifact Amplifier Enchantment enchantment — slotted on boots, chest, helmet or leggings — grants the status after you use an artifact, while also improving that artifact's cooldown and damage for a few seconds.

For players running artifact-heavy or soul-focused loadouts, Artificing is one of the most valuable buffs available. It pairs naturally with damage artifacts and with anything that feeds off souls, since both sides of the loop get stronger at once. Because it shortens cooldowns, it also makes supportive tools like Barrier Brew Enchantment-style wells or burst artifacts available more often. If your build revolves around artifact usage, look for the Totem of Casting or work Artifact Amplifier Enchantment into your armor enchantments.
