Deathcap Mushroom

Deathcap Mushroom is a positive status that makes you faster in two ways at once. While it is active, your movement speed increases and your melee attacks come out faster, turning you into a rapid, hard-to-pin-down fighter.

The status is granted by the Death Cap Mushroom gear piece. No enchantment is documented as applying it, so the mushroom is the only known source for players.

Deathcap Mushroom is ideal for melee builds that want to close distance quickly and keep swinging. The movement boost helps you dodge telegraphed boss attacks and reposition around mobs, while the faster melee swings raise your damage output directly. It stacks thematically with Flurrying from the Fighting Fungus, which raises both melee and ranged attack speed, and with Hurrying-style movement buffs from the Tempo Truffle or the Springload Enchantment enchantment. For hit-and-run playstyles, popping the mushroom before diving into a pack gives you both the speed to escape and the tempo to finish the fight.
