Hurrying

Hurrying is a positive status that makes you move faster. While it is active, your movement speed increases, helping you dodge attacks, chase down fleeing enemies and cross large arenas quickly.

Players can gain Hurrying from several sources. The Tempo Truffle grants it directly, while two armor enchantments — Springload Enchantment, which applies it for a few seconds after using an artifact, and Tempo Theft Enchantment, which has a chance to trigger a speed boost on kill — provide repeatable ways to keep it up. Unusually, soul-corrupted mobs carrying the Swiftness affix are documented as being able to put Hurrying on you as well.

Hurrying is a quality-of-life and survival buff rolled into one. Extra speed means better dodging against telegraphed boss slams and easier kiting of dangerous packs. It is the direct counter to the Slowed and Honeyed negative statuses, and it pairs with Deathcap Mushroom and Flurrying for aggressive, high-tempo play. If you find yourself outrun or cornered, a Hurrying source is one of the cheapest ways to buy breathing room.
