Tempo Theft Enchantment

Tempo Theft is a utility enchantment for both melee and ranged weapons that rewards aggressive play with speed. Defeating an enemy has a chance to trigger the Hurrying status, boosting movement speed for a short time so a player can chain from one kill to the next without slowing down.

The trigger chance climbs with each rank. At Tier I there is a 30% chance to gain the speed boost on a kill, Tier II raises it to 40%, and Tier III reaches a coin-flip 50% chance, which keeps the effect firing constantly during crowded fights and quiet during single-target boss phases.

Fast-paced clear builds get the most from it: melee fighters who dive into packs, bow users kiting large groups, and anyone who values uptime between objectives. It meshes with Springload Enchantment, which grants Hurrying on artifact use, for near-permanent speed, and with Somersault Enchantment for players who like to roll constantly between kills. Stealthy players might combine it with Shadowcloak for hit-and-run repositioning.

The book drops from the general enchantment book pool, and the Enchantsmith applies it at his stall in Wading Rainy Plains. Tier I costs 3 enchantment points plus 1 Echo Shard, Tier II costs 5 points plus 1 shard, and Tier III costs 7 points plus 1 shard, for a total of 15 points and 3 shards to max it out. Disenchanting is free and returns the points, but not the Echo Shards.
