Grindstone (Status)

Grindstone is a positive status that sharpens every attack you make. While it is active, all of your attacks deal increased damage, applied as an additive bonus to your damage calculation.

The status is granted by the Grindstone gear piece, which shares its name. No enchantment is documented as applying it, so the gear is the only known source for players.

Grindstone is a straightforward damage buff that benefits every build, since it touches melee, ranged and artifact-adjacent damage alike. Its additive nature makes it pair especially well with Strengthened, which increases damage multiplicatively — the two buffs come from different parts of the damage formula, so layering them multiplies your gains instead of competing for the same slot. Combine that with Critical Strength crits or Critical Precision guaranteed crits, and Grindstone becomes the base of one of the strongest burst windows available. Use it before engaging elites and bosses to make every hit count.
