Resumen
Ariete cubierto upgrades Arietes into a stronger Edad de los Castillos asedio unit for breaking edificios and defenses. It improves the ram line's ability to absorb fire and clear structures, but the slow unit still needs infantería or caballería protection.
Effect and affected unidades
The Taller de maq. de asedio upgrade advances eligible Arietes to Ariete cubiertos, increasing their effectiveness in pushing against structures and defended positions. The ram remains vulnerable to unidades that can reach it, so clear enemy cuerpo a cuerpo threats and fortaleza the asedio line moving with its escort. Research cost and timing
Research Ariete cubierto when you have a ram force or expect to make one for a Edad de los Castillos push. Its value increases when the opponent is relying on edificios to contain your army. If no escort or safe route is available, invest first in protection or open the approach with other unidades. (Edad Imperial, the Asedio, Comida, unidades)
