Effect and affected unidades
The Establo upgrade advances eligible Lancero esteparios to the elite stage. Their reach can increase the number of caballería contributing in a crowded cuerpo a cuerpo, while mobility supports raids and rapid rotations. Avoid fighting halberdiers or fortified a distancia positions without a favorable approach. Research cost and timing
Research the elite stage when Lancero esteparios are central to your army and you can fortaleza producing them. Its value depends on access, numbers, and the enemy's anti-caballería response. If the opponent has switched counters, use scouting to decide whether to continue the line or transition. (Edad Imperial, Establo, unidades)
