Bongo Beat 1

Bongo Beat 1 is the opening Steam achievement in Bongo Cat, awarded when a player's lifetime total reaches a single bongo beat. The cat bongs along with keyboard, mouse, or controller input, so one tap triggers it. With 89.4% of all players having unlocked it — nearly nine in ten — it is the most widely unlocked achievement in the game, firmly in the Common tier.

How to unlock

Launch Bongo Cat and press any key or button once. The cat drums its bongo, the counter moves from zero to one, and Steam grants the achievement instantly.

Gameplay notes

• The achievement is current and has not been removed.
• It starts the Bongo Beat progression series; the next milestone is Bongo Beat 10.
• The same beat counter powers chest drops, which begin roughly every 30 minutes past 1,000 bongo beats.
