Bongo Royale 2026 was Bongo Cat's April Fools event: for three days starting April 1, 2026, every multiplayer lobby turned into a battle royale where players typed to survive elimination.

Type like your life depends on it: for the three-day event, all multiplayer lobbies became battle royale lobbies with no escape. Players joined friends or random lobbies of up to 250 others and typed frantically to avoid being eliminated. Every participating mouse earned a special skin. The mode was disabled again after the event ended, and because it launched with bugs (lobby issues), the Blood Splatter Skin was granted to everyone for two days afterward as an apology.
The event also launched the Wrestler Supporter Pack with brand-new wrestling skins, and included a regional pricing adjustment for supporter items. The developer used the event as a test of optional multiplayer game modes, later asking players what future lobby-selectable game modes they would want.
