Chef Hat Large

Chef Hat Large is a Rare hat for Bongo Cat: an oversized, puffy white chef's toque that towers above the cat's head while it drums away. The tall white cap gives the bongo player a professional-kitchen look, a step up from any ordinary headwear.

How to obtain

Chef Hat Large drops from regular chests, which open about every 30 minutes once you have logged 1,000 bongo beats. It carries a Rare 0.49% drop chance, meaning you will open a lot of chests before this tall toque shows up. It is still obtainable today and trades freely on the Steam Community Market.

Gameplay notes

Hats are cosmetic items equipped from the inventory and do not change how the cat bongs along with your keyboard, mouse, or controller. Rare hats are a sweet spot for collectors: scarce enough to feel special at 0.49%, and eligible for the 10:1 exchange chain that upgrades ten Rare items into a higher tier.
