Krapfen

Krapfen is a Special hat that balances the Central European jam-filled pastry on Bongo Cat's head - a sweet, slightly absurd topper in the grand tradition of food hats. It equips from the inventory and stays put while the cat bongs along with your keyboard, mouse or controller input.

How to obtain

This hat was released through a limited-time event and has since been retired, so it can no longer be earned in game. Because it is tradeable, collectors can still acquire it through the Steam Community Market.

Trivia

Krapfen - known elsewhere as Berliner or jam doughnut - is a carnival-season staple in Germany and Austria, which fits the playful event-item vibe of the Special rarity tier.
