Waku Waku

Waku Waku is a Common expression that captures Bongo Cat in a moment of excited anticipation - "waku waku" being the Japanese onomatopoeia for that fluttery thrilled feeling. Expressions are worn from the inventory and change the cat's face while it bongs with your input.

How to obtain

It drops from chests. Chests arrive roughly every 30 minutes once you have banked at least 1,000 bongo beats, and each chest holds one random cosmetic at a random rarity. With a 90% drop rate, Commons are the most frequent pulls in the game, so this expression arrives early for most players. As one of the many Commons in the drop pool, it is not individually targeted: you simply open chests and eventually it turns up. Ten spare Commons trade upward through the 10:1 exchange chain toward Uncommon.

Gameplay notes

It is tradeable on the Steam Community Market, so a duplicate or spare can always find a new home. The item is still available and has not been retired. Expressions are cosmetic only: they never affect how beats are counted or when chests appear.
