What Trailers Has CONTROL Resonant Had?

The marketing run is essentially complete — a full ten-video campaign spanning nearly nine months, from the December 2025 reveal to launch week, in order:

  1. Announcement Trailer — The Game Awards, December 2025. The game exists; Dylan Faden leads; the Aberrant teased.
  2. Gameplay Reveal — PlayStation State of Play (early 2026). First real gameplay: melee combat and warped Manhattan.
  3. Story Trailer — June 2, 2026. The September 24, 2026 release date.
  4. Paranatural Manhattan — Summer Game Fest 2026. The city itself, scored by Vilma Jää's Manalan Mailla.
  5. Take Control — PC Gaming Show. Combat and tone spot.
  6. Altered State — gamescom (August 2026). Toned set-piece spot, scored by The Prodigy.
  7. Metro Fault mission (IGN First) — September 2026. Extended mission gameplay showing the dungeon structure.
  8. Previously on Control — September 2026. Story recap for newcomers catching up on 2019's game.
  9. PS5 Features trailer — September 2026. Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, 3D audio.
  10. Launch Trailer — launch week, September 2026. The final spot: out now.

Where Can You Watch Them?

All trailers live on Remedy's official YouTube channel — the announcement alone passed 700K views. Embedded on the page in timeline order (each loads only when pressed): the Announcement Trailer (The Game Awards 2025), the Official Gameplay Reveal (State of Play), the Story Trailer (release date reveal), the Paranatural Manhattan trailer (Summer Game Fest), and the Take Control trailer (PC Gaming Show). Every entry is listed in release order.

Which Trailer Has That Song?

Two get this question. Paranatural Manhattan is scored by Manalan Mailla by Finnish artist Vilma Jää — an Ingrian runolaulu folk piece that gave the trailer its haunting choral edge, released as part of Zoe's Mixtape, the game's official music project (full tracklist on the Zoe's Mixtape page). The gamescom Altered State spot runs on music by The Prodigy.

What Comes Next?

The launch trailer is out — the final scheduled beat — and the game itself is gold, so what ships is what these trailers showed. After the September 24 launch, expect post-launch and possibly NG+ spots. No further trailer beats were on the schedule at launch — this page gains each new video as Remedy drops it.
