A Brother’s Warning

The writer says no further appeals will follow — he doubts his brother's conscience survives at all.

He draws a line between obeying the vrakhiri out of fear and willingly becoming their lapdog: the brother can shed his uniform and his 'duty' and be a brother again — or meet him next time as an enemy, without hesitation.
