Climber's Note

A climber writes to warn a friend: the Blood Guard they killed had a witness, and the dead man's comrades are hunting them now. Their defiance proved the Blood Guard are not untouchable — but staying in Sangora means death.

With the roads unsafe and no village willing to shelter them, the writer urges escape through the mountain paths they trekked together as children, which the friend knows well. The note itself was found high in the mountains.
