Half-Burnt Letter from C.

Much of this letter is ash. The legible scraps mention an hour and trust, the mines; ore for weapons and for hope; silver enough, perhaps, to carve a message into every arrowhead, so that blood would no longer be theirs to bleed. A closing scrap urges someone to take the lead, warns against grand gestures, and notes the risks.
