Invitation from Bakir

Bakir writes in an arch, theatrical tone, claiming the reader's story of dreaming of eternal life moved him to tears.

He proposes a rendezvous come nightfall in the Silts, at the ancient oak by the mere, promising their life will change forever — though the description cautions against trusting a word of it.
