Knyaz Skender's Orders

Issued on the authority of God, the burnt note orders anyone showing plague signs — and their whole household, regardless of station — to remain indoors until symptoms pass.

Dwellings get boarded shut and checked every week, while anyone hiding their own or another's sickness faces death on the spot.

Skender closes with his confessor Father Florin's promise of absolution for every sin committed battling the pestilence.
