Letter from Ambrus

Ambrus tells his beloved the punishment is behind him: his wounds have closed, and his new master has graced him with everlasting life.

No longer frail flesh bound to dust and years but something perfected, he asks her to meet him when the moon is full — sure that seeing his transformation will make her yearn to follow, for eternity without her he will not endure.
