Humbler Carapace

The Humbler Carapace is the chest piece of the Humbler armor set in Minecraft Dungeons II, the unique version of the regular Protector Chestplate. Heavy armor for the Tank archetype, it sits at A tier on the armor rankings and is the chest slot of an endgame tank loadout.

Its unique effect is Recovery: all healing you receive increases by 40%. Potions, healing artifacts, and any other heal source all land harder, so the Carapace turns existing sustain into much larger effective health. It features in the endgame Redstone Wrecker potion engine build, where it pairs with the Health Synergy enchantment — with that setup, every artifact heals for a lot more, and the Carapace becomes the engine's defensive core. The tradeoff is that it needs a healing source to scale; without steady heals, its effect has nothing to multiply.

It drops as the unique roll of the Protector Chestplate: any Protector Chestplate drop can turn out to be the Carapace. Hunt the region drops in The Deep Dark and Humbler Huskland, or earn it as a quest reward.

Combine it with the Humbler Antenna for flat damage reduction, the Humbler Greaves for bonus damage against secondary targets, and the Humbler Tarsi for melee evasion. With healing-focused Minecraft Dungeons II Enchanting Guide, the Carapace makes a tank that refills almost as fast as enemies can drain it.
