Phantom Chestplate

The Phantom Chestplate is the torso piece of the Phantom set armor set, a regular (non-unique) four-piece line in Minecraft Dungeons II. Phantom gear sits at medium weight with the Ranger archetype, making the chestplate a middle-ground choice for archers and crossbow users who want durability without the sluggishness of heavy armor.

As a base-set piece it carries no fixed signature effect; its bonuses roll randomly from the Trickster + Ranger archetype pool, with rarity deciding how many effects roll. One confirmed roll across the whole set is Assassin, which gives a 10–20% chance to remain in Shadowcloaking when attacking — a natural fit for hit-and-run ranged combat. Because Phantom Helmet, Phantom Pants, and Phantom Boots draw from the same pool, the full Phantom set funnels every roll into Ranger-flavored bonuses even though there is no explicit set bonus in the game data.

Farm the chestplate in Howling Woods and Humbler Huskland. If a Phantom Chestplate drops at Unique rarity, it becomes a Dreamruler Cover instead, with the fixed Duelist effect of 40% more melee damage to primary targets. The chestplate has no standalone tier-list placement.
