Rimefrost Longjohns

The Rimefrost Longjohns are the leg piece of the Rimefrost set in Minecraft Dungeons II, the unique variant of the Steel Wool armor family. They are medium-weight leggings tuned for the Mage + Tank archetype, with flavor text describing them as breezy longjohns for staying chill while charging into enemy hordes.

Brawler effect

The Longjohns carry the unique effect Brawler: melee attacks deal 50% more damage to secondary targets. In practice this turns every swing into a crowd-control tool — the enemies adjacent to your main target take substantially more splash-style damage, which is exactly what matters when you are surrounded. Like all armor in Dungeons II, the Longjohns share the same base health as every other piece, so the Brawler bonus is the full reason to equip them.

Builds and playstyle

Brawler rewards aggressive melee builds that dive into groups rather than duel single targets. It has earned an A-tier placement on the armor tier list (Endgame: A), with the noted tradeoff that it gives no single-target gain — bosses and lone elites see no benefit. The leggings appear in one featured best build, Mattitude's S-tier endgame "Awesomeaxe crit, Warding Chimes" setup, where the axe's wide swings make the secondary-target bonus shine. They fit naturally alongside the rest of the Rimefrost set: Rimefrost Icecap, Rimefrost Armor, and Rimefrost Plodders.

How to get them

Rimefrost Longjohns drop as the unique roll of the Steel Wool Leggings — any Steel Wool Leggings drop can come out as this unique piece instead. They are region drops found in the Frozen Highlands and Humbler Huskland, so farming those regions is the path to acquiring them. Players already wearing the regular Steel Wool Leggings can treat these as a direct crowd-clearing upgrade.
