Prickly Effect

Prickly is a defensive gear effect in Minecraft Dungeons II that reflects a portion of the damage you receive back at the attacker. Hit Prickly, and you hurt yourself in the process.

The reflection starts at 50% of received damage at tier I, rises to 65% at tier II and 80% at tier III, and reaches 100% at the unique tier — full damage returned to sender. Because the reflection scales with incoming damage, it punishes hard-hitting enemies most.

Tank builds that expect to be hit constantly get the most from Prickly. It pairs with Protection and Resilience to reduce the damage you take while the reflection does its work, and Constitution Effect enlarges the health pool you absorb hits with. Against swarms of weak enemies, Prickly can clear attackers without you lifting a weapon.

Threat-level rules apply: tier I only below threat 3, tier III from threat 6, and tier III as common as tier II from threat 15. Common items never roll it; rare items carry one effect and special items two.
