Prospector

Prospector is a rollable gear effect in Minecraft Dungeons II that rewards treasure-hunting play. It can appear as a bonus on weapons, armor, and artifacts, and it belongs to the gear-effect system rather than Minecraft Dungeons II Enchanting Guide — effects are rolled directly onto gear by rarity, while enchantments are applied through books. Players who farm runs for loot value prize this one, since it makes every clear pay out a little better.

The effect scales in clean steps: 5 at tier I, 10 at tier II, and 15 at tier III, with Unique gear pushing the bonus to 20. On talismans it runs 10, 20, and 25 across the three talisman tiers. That steady growth means each upgrade tier noticeably improves your haul, and the talisman track offers one of the strongest versions of the effect available.

Like all gear effects, Prospector is limited by rarity — common gear rolls no effects, rare gear rolls one, and special gear rolls two. Its rolled tier tracks your threat level: below threat 3 you always get tier I, tier III becomes possible from threat 6, and at threat 15 tier III rolls are as likely as tier II. Pair it with fellow reward-oriented effects such as Looter Effect, Luck Effect, and Bounty Hunter Effect to build a dedicated farming loadout.
