Poison Fog

Poison Fog is an offensive melee enchantment that turns your jump attacks and final combo hits into bursts of toxic gas. Each trigger releases a wave that damages nearby enemies and leaves them poisoned, so the damage keeps ticking after the initial hit. It sits at C tier on the enchantment rankings — serviceable, but rated well below Lightning Surge in endgame testing.
The wave's impact grows with each tier. Tier I deals 10% of weapon damage plus the poison effect, Tier II raises that to 20%, and Tier III reaches 30%. The effect can fire once every 0.75 seconds, matching the pace of aggressive melee chains.
It suits players who like leaping into packs and poisoning everything around them, but the modest damage share means it struggles against the S-tier competition at the top end. If you want a wave-style melee enchantment and do not have Lightning Surge yet, Poison Fog can fill the slot in the meantime.
The book drops from the general enchantment book pool. Apply it and raise its tiers at the Enchantsmith in Wading Rainy Plains for 3, 5, and 7 enchantment points plus one Echo Shard per tier — 15 points and 3 shards total. To compare other elemental wave options, look at Frost Crescent Enchantment (Minecraft Dungeons II) and Fire Aspect Enchantment (Minecraft Dungeons II), or Soul Blast Enchantment for a different kind of area burst. Disenchanting is free and returns the points, but not the shards.
