Stampeding is a positive status that turns movement itself into a weapon. While it is active, your movement speed is slightly increased, and running into mobs knocks them back while dealing damage to them.

Notably, the source data documents Stampeding only as a status that soul-corrupted mobs carrying the Persistence affix have on themselves — no gear piece, enchantment, or gear effect is listed as granting it to players. This is one of the few statuses where the documented evidence points to mobs rather than heroes.

Tactically, Stampeding on enemies means soul-corrupted mobs with Persistence become more dangerous up close: they move faster and punish contact, so keep your distance and fight them at range or with careful dodges. The Cow Stampede Enchantment enchantment produces a similar slam-into-enemies effect for players, making it the closest player-side equivalent if you want that playstyle. If future updates add a player source for Stampeding, expect it to pair well with Hurrying-style speed buffs and to counter Slowed and Honeyed movement penalties.
