Resumen

Lead Francisco de Almeida’s Portugueses expeditions from Iberia across Africa and the Indian Ocean, where comerciar, marina control, and shifting alliances shape each campaign. (Portugueses)

Scenario details

The five missions follow the Portugueses commander from conflict in Iberia to the Indian Ocean. Escenarios mix tierra sieges with marina defense, comerciar-route decisions, and changing local alliances. Several offer alternative victory paths, such as conquering an opponent or holding a Maravilla, while resource collection and ship control determine whether isolated footholds can survive. Campaign mission sequence

The Old World: defend Toro, gather scattered soldiers, destroy three enemy camps, then seize Zamora by force or cut off its comida supply. León of Africa: establish an economía across the river, choose whether to enlist the Emir’s marina aid, and defeat the pirates while adapting to changing alliances. Ruins of Empires: decide Muhammad’s fate to influence local support, build a foothold on the Swahili coast, and destroy Kilwa’s fortaleza and Mombasa’s Maravilla. Estado da India: defend Fuerte Sant’Angelo against attacks by tierra and sea, turn destroyed enemy edificios into suministros, and defeat the allied rulers or hold a Maravilla. A Son’s Blood: recruit Portugueses soldiers without unnecessary losses, win Albuquerque’s support, destroy Diu’s Maravilla, and survive the counterattack through conquest or a Maravilla victory. • 1. The Old World — Francisco de Almeida and Prince Juan must hold Toro against Aragon before turning the tide toward Zamora. Rally scattered soldiers and remove the three enemy camps, then break the Isabelista hold through military conquest or by destroying its comida supply.
  • 2. León of Africa — Portugueses forces defend an exposed foothold against a pirate fleet and rival desert camps. Build an economía across the river, decide whether to enlist the Emir’s marina help, then defeat the pirates and face the shifting alliance.
  • 3. Ruins of Empires — Francisco’s army lands on the Swahili coast amid rival city states and competing comerciar routes. Decide Muhammad’s fate to shape local support, build up a foothold, and bring down Kilwa’s fortaleza and Mombasa’s Maravilla.
  • 4. Estado da India — Betrayed at Cannanore, Francisco and Lourenço defend Fuerte Sant’Angelo against attacks by tierra and sea. Turn the ruins of enemy edificios into suministros, blunt the Zamorin’s marina threat, and either defeat the allied rulers or hold a Maravilla.
  • 5. A Son’s Blood — After the death of his son, Francisco refuses to surrender command and seeks revenge in India. Win Portugueses soldiers to his side without needless bloodshed, bring Albuquerque over, destroy Diu’s Maravilla, then survive the counterattack with a conquest or Maravilla victory.
