Player approach
In the Definitive Edition, the central city objective is to destroy six towers while two enemy bases raid your settlements. Build two productive footholds and avoid spending the opening on optional opponents.
Step-by-step plan
Place a Centro urbano near the western berries and another near eastern piedra, then fortaleza Villagers working on both sides. Use western oro and eastern piedra to support an army and Castles covering exposed approaches. Fortaleza the starting forces together with local reinforcements until the neutral city is reachable, then enfoque on the six Atalayas. Save the hidden Arab mercenaries until population is tight so they add strength at the decisive moment. (Centro urbano, piedra, oro, piedra, Fortaleza)
Risks and adjustments
The two enemy bases need not be eliminated and can distract the army from the six-tower objective. Fortaleza both economies defended and reserve population space for the mercenaries if you plan to use them.
