Todo Roads Lead to a Besieged City outer-objective route
The objetivos can be completed outside Rome; entering the heavily defended city is unnecessary. Gather Gaia refugees along the route, use the southern island as the safer river crossing, and fortaleza the force together while removing the three towers. Once the Gothic camp is secured, prepare for a Roman counterattack on its Mercado. (Todo Roads Lead to a Besieged City)

Plan and execution
Follow the eastern bank and collect the refugees you find, adding a small escort so they survive the journey. Avoid the guarded bridge and cross at the small island south of it. Destroy the eastern Atalaya first, then cross to the western bank and remove the other two. Stay clear of inland Atalayas and Roman patrols. Once the three objetivos are complete, secure the Gothic camp and Mercado, and arrange a defense for the expected counterattack. (Fortaleza)
Risks and adaptation
A direct march into Rome exposes the small army to strong defenses without helping the required objetivos. The bridge crossing is guarded, and tower fire punishes unidades that linger in range. Use the southern island, destroy only the required towers, and fortaleza refugees behind a combat screen. (fortaleza)
