Resumen
Oro is limited and Melus relies on a strong infantería force. Secure both Reliquias early, then use Mercado comerciar to sustain oro after exposed mines are depleted. Cataphracts provide the main counter to Melus, while the Guardia varego can absorb pressure from weaker mercenaries. (Loose Ends, oro, Reliquias, Mercado, oro)
Plan and execution
Build a Monasterio immediately and send two Monks to the western Relic and the northern Relic across the river. Use a small escort to distract the tower while one Monje retrieves the northern artifact. Expand Aldeano production and add a Mercado before accessible oro runs out. Build a Castillo and produce Cataphracts for Melus, while assigning the Guardia varego to contain the weaker mercenary force and protect the allied position where useful. (Monasterio, Monje, Aldeano, Mercado, comerciar, oro, Castillo, Guardia varego)
Risks and adaptation
Monks and Villagers are exposed near the river, so do not send them without an escort or a safe withdrawal route. The Guardia varego may be lost without causing defeat; do not sacrifice the player’s economía to save every allied soldier. Fortaleza the Castillo and Catafracta production focused on Melus’ main force. (Guardia varego)
