Player approach
本關需要同時管理軍事壓力與經濟。偵察敵方路線並保護採集區，依實際威脅組軍；若其他路線仍暴露，不要把全軍投入單一敵人。 (大型箭塔)
Step-by-step plan
開局以投石手對付長槍兵；精銳矛兵負責敵方遠程部隊，香披斥候攻擊暴露的矛兵與弩砲，投石手或弩手則處理長槍兵。第一個岔路選南線，推進時讓帕查庫提招募沒有領袖的印加部隊。奪下南方營地後，安排村民採集食物、木材和黃金，補充兵力再前往下一座有守軍的村莊。附近資源營地有混合守軍，增加足夠反制兵種後再攻取。 (單位, 帕查庫特克)
Risks and adjustments
過度深入會讓經濟暴露，也難以應付第二波攻擊。若前線不穩，先撤到易守地形，重新組成有支援的部隊，不要持續用單位交換。
