In August 2025, Bongo Cat opened up multiplayer with the Co-op Meowtiplayer Update: lobbies that hold up to 100 players in a single shared session. Inside a lobby, each cat shows up wearing its owner's equipped cosmetics, and players talk to one another through emojis. Its standout feature is a one-time, permanent Fruit Fusion team selection — Team Strawberry, Team Pineapple, or Team Watermelon — granting an exclusive skin.

As an Update, Meowtiplayer brought the social layer online in August 2025. First-time lobby players must make the Fruit Fusion choice once, and it cannot be undone, so players should pick the team whose skin they want before committing.
