Captain Hat

Captain Hat is a Rare cosmetic hat for Bongo Cat, giving the cat a seafaring captain's look — the kind of headwear a ship's commander would wear. As a hat-type cosmetic, it is equipped from the inventory and appears on the cat while it bongs along with keyboard, mouse, or controller input.

How to obtain

The Captain Hat drops from chests, which arrive roughly every 30 minutes after 1,000 bongo beats. Its Rare drop rate is 0.49%, so it may take a long stretch of play before one surfaces. Players can also pick it up through the Steam Community Market, where it is tradeable, or use duplicates in the 10:1 exchange chain.

Gameplay notes

The item remains available. Like every cosmetic hat, it is purely decorative and does not change bongo speed or game progression.
