Cowboy Hat

Cowboy Hat is an Uncommon hat that puts a classic wide-brimmed cowboy hat on Bongo Cat. The western look has made it one of the most popular Uncommon accessories in the game.

How to obtain

Cowboy Hat drops from regular chests at the Uncommon 9.5% rate, so it appears fairly often. Chests arrive roughly every 30 minutes after you log 1,000 bongo beats. It is available in the current pool and tradeable on the Steam Community Market.

Gameplay notes

Hats are cosmetic items equipped from the inventory and do not change the cat's drumming, which tracks your keyboard, mouse, or controller. The Cowboy Hat's broad silhouette reads well in small overlay windows, a big reason for its popularity. There is also a Cowboy Hat Variant for players who want a different take on the western theme. Uncommons trade up through the 10:1 exchange chain toward Rare.
